The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the lifting of limitations on Umrah pilgrimages imposed in the aftermath of the COVID-19. The Ministry has removed the maximum age limit of 50 years as a requirement for pilgrims travelling from outside Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
Previously, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah only allowed Muslims aged 18 to 50 to perform Umrah, as well as worship at the Grand Mosque and Al-Rawdah Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque and visit the Prophet’s tomb following the easing of regulations that were enforced during the outbreak of coronavirus.
