Amazing information about Maqam e Ibrahim
A place in the Holy Courtyard of the Sacred Mosque in Makkah is called ‘Maqam e Ibrahim’. Very few people know the details about Maqam e Ibrahim. This is the stone on which Abraham (peace be upon him) was standing and building the walls of the Kabah. The need arose when the wall was raised and placing stones on the rocks was beyond the reach of Abraham (peace be upon him).
Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was forced to stand on a rock and do masonry work. The footprints of Hazrat Ibraham (peace be upon him) are covered with a brass shell.
